Halloween

For our first Halloween in the house we celebrated it by going to the trunk or treat at our ward church party. Jeff was a zombie, I was a zombie bride and Nathan was a ninja. I had big plans to decorate the outside of the house but never got around to it. I didn't even buy any candy for trick or treaters because I wasn't sure if we would get any and I didn't want the bag of candy left in the house to be calling my name at night to come eat it. I later found out that we DO get trick or treaters. Next year I'll be ready.



















Witch finger cookies. I made these sugar cookies three times this Halloween. Once for work, a second time for trunk or treat and a third time for the 12 year olds in our primary class.





I went to San Diego to visit my family this Thanksgiving. Unfortunately Jeff wasn't able to go because he wasn't able to get time off. Mackenzie had a play that she was in called "Geology Rocks!". She had one of the main parts and was great!! She new all her lines and had great personality delivering those lines.





Mackenzie also had her 10th Birthday while I was there. She already acts like she is a teen though. I bought her the Wii game "Just Dance" and it is awesome! My mom, Mackenzie and I had so much fun.





I'm sure De Boots was in heaven while I was gone having Jeff all to herself. Who wouldn't be??

Vacation TIme!

We went on a couple vacations this summer for some much needed break time and went to Utah for my dad's family reunion and South Carolina to visit Jeff's family.
